   Biography
Pooja Athavale Bakre, born 17 th may 1987, inherited the rich musical tradition from her father Shri.Mukund Athavale. She started taking her early music lessons at an age of 11 from Pt. Shubhada Paradkar. This systematic and extensive training continued for more than 11 years. She has been also taking advanced training from Pt. Madhukar Joshi (Dombivli) a veteran mucisian and son of Pt. Gajananrao Joshi for more than 5 years now. Pooja is also very fortunate to receive guidance from Pt. Manjiri Asnare and Pt. Padma Talwalkar.
